Mirinly® is protecting your privacy
The Talariast Inc.'s (“Mirinly®”) Privacy Policy was created to ensure we preserve the confidentiality, accuracy and security of your personal information. These principles guide Mirinly®in the collection, use, retention and disclosure of your personal information in all of our Mirinly®content and service offerings, including those at Mirinly®’s website www.mirinly.com, and should be read in conjunction with Mirinly®’s Website and Mobile Device App Use Terms and Conditions which may be found here.
What is personal information?
Personal information means any information about an identifiable individual. This includes information such as your name, address, telephone number, birth date, purchase information, and E Mail address. As a user of the Mirinly® website or mobile device applications, or any Mirinly content or services, you provide Mirinly® with this information in a variety of ways, such as applying for a Mirinly® user account/registration, viewing and using Mirinly® content and services, purchasing goods and services from or through Mirinly®, entering on-line contests, signing up for various Mirinly® programs or services, visiting or using our Mirinly® website at www.mirinly.com or using any of our mobile device applications. In every case, Mirinly® adheres to strict guidelines when dealing with your personal information.
Collecting your personal information
When you provide Mirinly® with personal information, we inform you as to why we are collecting it if for purposes in addition to those set out in this Privacy Policy.
Mirinly® obtains your consent for the collection of your personal information. In some instances, where the purpose for collection is obvious, your consent is implied.
Mirinly® asks for your permission to collect additional information that may be useful in serving you in the future.
For the purpose of maintaining quality service, telephone calls to our user or customer service lines may be recorded. If your call is subject to a quality assurance program, you will be so advised prior to speaking with a representative.
Using and disclosing your personal information
Mirinly® only uses and discloses your personal information for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy, or for marketing or other purposes identified to you when your consent was obtained.
Your personal information is only used or disclosed for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy as it may from time to time be amended, or for other purposes you specifically consent to from time to time.
Mirinly® may use your personal information in order to process your user or client application/registration, profile or to fulfill requests for content, products or services, or to tailor contents, products or services or for advertising or marketing purposes. Mirinly® may also use your information to better understand your information, product and service needs and to offer relevant information, products, services, marketing and advertising to meet those needs. Your viewing times, patterns, purchases and other transactions, shopping patterns, account activity and payment history is tracked and analyzed for marketing purposes and for making promotional offers to you.
Mirinly® may receive information about your location. For example, you may choose to publish your location in your user or client application, registration or profile. Mirinly® may also determine your location by using other data from your device, such as precise location information from GPS, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. Mirinly® may use and store information about your location to provide features of the Mirinly® website or content or services provided thereat or in association with the website or mobile device applications, and to improve and customize website pages, mobile device applications, content, services and marketing materials to make them more relevant for you.
Mirinly® may keep track of how you interact with Mirinly® and with links across Mirinly®’s website and mobile device applications, and their content and services, including Mirinly® E Mail and text notifications, third-party services, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our website and mobile device applications and our content, services and marketing, to provide more relevant advertising and information, and to be able to share aggregate statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.
Like many websites and mobile device applications, Mirinly® uses cookies and similar technologies to collect additional website and application usage data and to improve its website and mobile device applications, content and services, but Mirinly®does not require cookies for many parts of its content and services such as searching and looking at public user profiles. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your computer or mobile device. Mirinly® may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with Mirinly®’s website and mobile device applications and their content, services and marketing, to monitor aggregate usage by Mirinly® users and web/applications traffic routing, and to customize and improve Mirinly®’s website, mobile device applications and their content, services and marketing. Although most web browsers and mobile devices automatically accept cookies, some browser and mobile device settings can be modified to decline cookies or alert you when a website is attempting to place a cookie on your computer or mobile device. However, some portions of the Mirinly® website or mobile device applications and their content and services may not function properly if you disable cookies.
When you log into your Mirinly® with a web browser or mobile device, Mirinly® will associate that browser or mobile device with your account for purposes such as authentication and personalization. Depending on your settings, Mirinly® may also personalize your experience on, and based on information from, other browsers or mobile devices besides the ones you use to log into Mirinly®. For example, if you visit other websites with certain content, Mirinly® may show you related ads on or via the Mirinly® website or mobile device applications, or pushed to you on your web browser or mobile device.
Mirinly® may share or disclose your information at your direction, such as when you authorize a third-party web client or application to access your Mirinly® account or any portion of it, or when you direct us to share your feedback with a business. If you share information using social media features of the Mirinly® website or any mobile device application or any content or services, with another user or person who can access the Mirinly® website or a mobile device application or such content or services, keep in mind that the information may be shared with the third-party.
From time to time Mirinly® engages service providers to perform functions and provide services to it, such as hosting blogs and other social media functions, and to help Mirinly® understand and improve the use of the Mirinly® website and its content, services and marketing. Mirinly® may share your private personal information with such service providers subject to obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures, and on the condition that the third parties use your private personal data only on our behalf and pursuant to Mirinly® instructions. Mirinly® may also share your payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address with payment services providers to process payments; prevent, detect and investigate fraud or other prohibited activities; facilitate dispute resolution such as chargebacks or refunds; and for other purposes associated with the acceptance or use of credit or debit cards.
Mirinly® may share or disclose your public information, such as your public user profile information and your public social media communications and interactions.
In the event that Mirinly® may be involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. This Privacy Policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity. Mirinly® may also disclose information about you to Mirinly® affiliates in order to help provide, understand, and improve the Mirinly® website and mobile device applications and Mirinly®’s and its affiliates’ content, services, marketing, including the delivery of ads.
Mirinly® may share or disclose non-personal, aggregated, or device-level information. This information does not include your name, email address, phone number or personalized purchase information. Mirinly® may, however, share non-personal, depersonalized, aggregated, or device-level information through partnerships and associations with entities that may use data in their possession (including data you may have given them) to link your name, email address, or other personal information to the information we provide them.
Mirinly® may share information about you as permitted or required by law, for example with credit bureaus, regulators and law enforcement agencies.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, Mirinly® may preserve or disclose your information if Mirinly® believes that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental or administrative request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect Mirinly® or any Mirinly® users’ rights or property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defences or objections that you may have to a third party’s, including a government’s, request to disclose your information.
Maintaining and safeguarding your personal information
Mirinly® strives to ensure that its security measures protect against loss, theft and unauthorized access, disclosure, use or modification of your personal information.
Mirinly® limits access to your personal information to those Mirinly® associates who may need it for use in accordance with Mirinly®'s established privacy principles.
Mirinly® associates sign an acknowledgement and undertaking which requires them to keep your personal information confidential and comply with our security standards.
Mirinly® keeps your information for as long as necessary and in order to service you better.
You can withdraw your consent for the use of your personal information at any time, subject to legal restrictions and upon reasonable notice to Mirinly®. Mirinly® will let you know of the implications of withdrawing your consent. Information may be retained by Mirinly® for audit or archival purposes.
You are entitled to access your personal information
If you request access to your personal information, Mirinly® responds to your request within 30 days.
There is no cost for reasonable requests, unless you require copies of records. Mirinly® advises you of the cost, if any, prior to copying those records.
Mirinly® may not be able to provide you with access to your personal information where the information cannot be separated from the records of others, cannot be disclosed for reasons of security or commercial confidentiality, or is protected by legal privilege.
You may access your personal information that we have on record in order to ensure it is accurate by submitting a written request to us.
Mirinly® provides you with the answers
Mirinly® has established a Privacy Office and has appointed a designated privacy officer to ensure that everyone at Mirinly® complies with our Privacy Policy. Mirinly® investigates and responds to any questions, complaints or requests for information you may have.
